We are delighted to reveal this year’s cohort of Room 204 writers. With over 170 applications, competition was very tough, and we’re very excited by the talent on show from the 15 writers who make up this year’s group.
The group will undertake a year-long programme of writer development, and join over 100 writers who have been through the scheme since its inception in 2012.
Jonathan Davidson, Chief Executive of Writing West Midlands, met with all the participants as a group and then for their first professional development one-to-ones in April 2018. He said:
“It is always very exciting to welcome a new year’s intake to our Room 204 Writer Development Programme. The West Midlands is home to so many great writers and we are delighted to be offering support to a particularly talented and interesting group of writers.”
