Be a Shakespearean postman for a day!

Can you help us celebrate Shakespeare on Saturday 23 April, the 400th anniversary of his death?

Do something to be part of this historic day and celebrate the most successful British writer of all time.

We are teaming up with BBC local radio to celebrate Shakespeare on Saturday 23 April by posting hundreds of poetry postcards through letterboxes across the West Midlands.

Every person who lives on a Shakespeare Road, Street, Drive, Crescent or Close across the whole West Midlands will receive a specially-designed postcard with a sonnet by Shakespeare on one side, and a new poem inspired by Shakespeare by one of our best poets from the region on the other.

We need you to help us deliver the postcards!

Can you spare a few hours on either Friday 22 April or Saturday 23 April to hand-deliver some of the postcards in your local area?

Even better if you live on a Shakespeare Road or Street!

Sign up to be a Shakespeare Street postie by filling in the form below by 15th April.
