Children & Young People / Write On!

Write On! is Writing West Midlands’ programme of creative writing activities for children and young people. We work in schools through our Write On! in Schools schemes and out of school through our Write On! Writing Squads and Write On! Online. Our work uses trained and inspiring professional writers and takes place across the region throughout the year.

Our work with children and young people is constantly developing and expanding. We are regularly involved in regional and national initiatives to improve the ways in which children and young people engage with creative writing, including the Well Versed project (2010 – 2011).
